Patrizio Menchetti is a visiting professor of commercial law for Padua University's LL.M. course on Internet law, as well as a member of the Legal Advisory Board (LAB) of the European Commission's Information Society Directorate-General.
Mr Menchetti focuses his practice on information technology, data protection, intellectual property, antitrust, telecommunications and general high technology matters.
He has inter alia assisted the European Commission with the assessment of the legal status of standardization in Italy, as well as with the assessment of telecom liberalization in Luxembourg.
He is a member of the Arbitrators' Roster for disputes on .it domain names.
He has published several articles and essays in Italian and in English. He is also a member of the editorial board of the series "Trattato di diritto europeo dell'impresa".
