Olivier Hance is Legal Counsellor at the European Commission (Information Society Directorate-General / Unit A1 "Internet; Network and Information
Security") and Professor of Law at the University of Aix-en-Provence (France). Professor and researcher in many universities, he is often invited to courses and seminars all over the world. His main practices are European Law and Information Society Law.
Mr Hance wrote "Business and Law on the Internet" (1996, with S. Dionne), which has been translated in 7 languages, "The New Virtual Money: Law and Practice" (1999, with S. Dionne) and "Le statut juridique de l'information en droit Communautaire" (to be published, Larcier, November 2004).
